Mount View Farms began as a simple idea and quickly grew into a shared commitment to improve our land and strengthening our community by helping fight food insecurity.
What started as an expansion plan to grow our own food and increase room for our dog, Gus, to run, was short lived and grew into a journey.
We recognized its potential to do more than sustain our family. It could help nourish others as well.
That realization became the foundation of Mount View Farms, a nonprofit dedicated to growing fresh produce and expanding access to healthy food for families in Central Massachusetts.
Everything we do is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that small acts of care can grow into lasting change for an entire community.
We partner with local food pantries and focus on supplying the produce they need people want.
By growing these crops locally, Mount View Farms helps ensure that community members receive fresh, high‑quality produce that supports both nourishment and dignity.

Central Massachusetts is a close‑knit community where neighbors look out for one another, but many families still struggle with consistent access to fresh, healthy food.
Rising grocery costs, limited local produce options, and economic challenges have created gaps that hit the most vulnerable households the hardest.
For some families, fresh vegetables are a luxury rather than a staple. Hundreds of children and senior citizens in our community receive little to no produce in their daily food intake.
Mount View Farms exists to help close that gap — growing and donating produce so every family, regardless of income, can rely on nutritious food grown right here at home. Our work is rooted in love for this community and a commitment to making sure no one is left behind.
